Description: Maximum delay variation (DVMAX). This optional VDSL2-specific parameter specifies the maximum value for the delay variation allowed in an OLR procedure. It is ranges from 1 to 254 units of 0.1 milliseconds (i.e., 0.1 to 25.4 milliseconds) with the special value 255, which indicates that no delay variation bound is imposed.

What is xdsl2ChConfProfMaxDelayVar?

Sets the maximum delay variation (DVMAX) an On-Line Reconfiguration (OLR) procedure is allowed to introduce, in units of 0.1 ms (1-254, i.e. 0.1-25.4 ms), with the special value 255 meaning no bound is imposed. Operators cap this on latency-sensitive channels so that mid-session bit-swap or rate-adaptation events don't introduce a noticeable jitter spike.
