Description:
IMA Mode Enable. The parameter enables the IMA operation mode in the ATM Data Path. Relevant only if the channel is of ATM Data Path. When in 'enable' state, the ATM Data Path should comply with the requirements for IMA transmission.
What is xdsl2ChConfProfImaEnabled?
This object enables or disables IMA (Inverse Multiplexing over ATM) mode for an xDSL channel's ATM data path. When IMA is enabled, the ATM path can distribute traffic across multiple physical circuits and reassemble it at the far end, increasing effective bandwidth and resilience. An operator enables this on xDSL lines that support multiple bonded connections, allowing the system to comply with IMA transmission requirements.
