Description: This object identifies the channelIndex value associated with the channelEntry to use on behalf of this entry.
If this object does not reference a valid and active channelEntry, then this entry is ignored in the packet selection algorithm. Otherwise, the packets selected by the identified channelEntry are selected by this entry.
This object may not be modified if the associated vdsChanSelStatus object is equal to active(1).
What is vdsChanSelChanIdx?
The RMON channelIndex whose output feeds this selection entry; only packets accepted by that channel, and on the same parent interface as the referencing vdsControlEntry, are selected, letting an admin reuse an existing RMON channel's filtering logic within a virtual data source.
