Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: There is an option of inverting the transmit clock signal for X.21/V.35 interface. Inverting the tranmit clock is used to compensate for skews between the clock and data when transmitting across long cables at fast data rates.

What is usdV35IfTxClock?

This object optionally inverts the transmit clock signal on the X.21/V.35 interface, choosing normal(0) or inverted(1). Admins set it to inverted(1) to compensate for clock-to-data skew that develops when transmitting across long cables at high data rates, which can otherwise cause bit errors. For example, a serial link running at a high clock rate over an unusually long cable run might need this set to inverted(1) to restore reliable data alignment.
