usdRadiusClientSourceAddress

Module: Unisphere-Data-RADIUS-CLIENT-MIB

OID (symbolic): Unisphere-Data-RADIUS-CLIENT-MIB::usdRadiusClientSourceAddress

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.19.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: IpAddress

Access: read-write

Description: The source address used by the RADIUS client in requests to the RADIUS server. The RADIUS server returns responses from this address. Setting this object to 0.0.0.0 will reset the value to its default.

What is usdRadiusClientSourceAddress?

Sets the source IP address the RADIUS client uses when sending requests, so the server's replies come back to this address; setting it to 0.0.0.0 (the default) resets it to the router's normal default. An admin sets this explicitly when RADIUS traffic needs to originate from a specific loopback or management address rather than whatever interface would be chosen by default.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.19.1.1.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> Unisphere-Data-RADIUS-CLIENT-MIB::usdRadiusClientSourceAddress

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.19.1.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> Unisphere-Data-RADIUS-CLIENT-MIB::usdRadiusClientSourceAddress.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.19.1.1.3.1 a <value>
