usdIsisSysHostNameAreaAddr

Module: Unisphere-Data-ISIS-MIB

OID (symbolic): Unisphere-Data-ISIS-MIB::usdIsisSysHostNameAreaAddr

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.38.1.1.5.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OSINSAddress

Access: read-write

Description: A configured area address for the system which this name will be assigned. This object follows the index behaviour.

Note: an index for the entry {1, {49.0001} active} in this table would be the ordered pair (1, (0x03 0x49 0x00 0x01)), as the length of an Octet string is part of the OID.

What is usdIsisSysHostNameAreaAddr?

Sets the configured area address associated with the system ID this hostname alias applies to. An admin uses this together with the system ID to correctly scope a manually configured hostname mapping.
