This TimeTicks value gives the timeout remaining before a pruned outgoing interface is eligible to be re-grafted back into the multicast forwarding tree; it is undefined when the OIF is not currently pruned. An admin watches this to estimate how soon multicast traffic will resume flowing to a branch after a prune, absent an explicit graft message. For instance, a value corresponding to 90 seconds remaining tells the admin the OIF's prune will time out and traffic may briefly resume before DVMRP re-evaluates the branch.
