usdDvmrpRouteLimit
Module: Unisphere-Data-DVMRP-MIB
OID (symbolic): Unisphere-Data-DVMRP-MIB::usdDvmrpRouteLimit
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.44.1.1.1.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Integer32
Access: read-write
Description: The limit on the number of routes that may be advertised on a usdDvmrp interface.
What is usdDvmrpRouteLimit?
This integer caps the total number of routes that may be advertised out a DVMRP interface. Administrators use it to protect router memory and neighbor routers from being overwhelmed by an excessive multicast route table on a single link. Setting the limit to 2000 stops the interface from advertising more than 2000 DVMRP routes even if the local route table holds more.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.44.1.1.1.4 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> Unisphere-Data-DVMRP-MIB::usdDvmrpRouteLimit
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.44.1.1.1.4.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> Unisphere-Data-DVMRP-MIB::usdDvmrpRouteLimit.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.44.1.1.1.4.1 i <value>
