usrChassisCFMStatusFlag

Module: USR-CHASSIS-MIB

OID (symbolic): USR-CHASSIS-MIB::usrChassisCFMStatusFlag

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.429.4.41.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: UsrConfigStatus

Access: read-write

Description: Setting the value of this object to `save' causes the values of the ChassisSlotTable to be written out to the current config file, which is stored in the usrChassisConfigFileName object. While the new ConfigFile is being written, the NMBA process will set the value of this flag to `saving''. Any attempts to set the value while it is not `normal' (i.e. the file is currently being written to the ConfigFile) while result in a badValue error being returned. Setting the value to `normal' will result in no action.

What is usrChassisCFMStatusFlag?

Setting this to 'save' writes the current chassis slot table out to the config file named in usrChassisConfigFileName; the agent flips it to 'saving' while the write is in progress and rejects further sets until it returns to normal, so an admin polls this to confirm a save has completed before assuming the config is persisted.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.429.4.41.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> USR-CHASSIS-MIB::usrChassisCFMStatusFlag

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.429.4.41.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> USR-CHASSIS-MIB::usrChassisCFMStatusFlag.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.429.4.41.2.1 s <value>
