Module: UPSMAN

OID (symbolic): UPSMAN::upsLastTestResult

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1356.1.5.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The current UPS Test Result. If this value is undefined(0) no test has been run since startup.

What is upsLastTestResult?

This read-only value reports the outcome of the most recently run UPS test as undefined, success, failed, or notSupported, with undefined(0) meaning no test has run since startup. An admin checks it after initiating a test via upsRunTest to confirm the UPS passed. For example, a result of failed(2) after a battery test should prompt immediate battery replacement before relying on that UPS during an outage.
