Description: The current state of the fan being instrumented. Represents the fan state of a device being monitored. Valid values are:
normal(1): the environment is good, such as low temperature.
notPresent(5): the environmental monitor is not present, such as temperature sensors do not exist.
notFunctioning(6): the environmental monitor does not function properly.
What is ubiEnvMonFanState?
This field reports the health state of the monitored fan: normal, not present, or not functioning. Admins watch this to catch a failed or missing fan before it leads to thermal problems elsewhere in the chassis. For example, a value of notFunctioning(6) would prompt an admin to physically inspect or replace that fan.
