Description: Default Window Size (defwsze) This field sets the default value for the packet-level window size to be used when transferring packets if flow-control negotiation is disabled (flowneg = no/psz) or is not requested. If flow control parameter negotiation is enabled (flowneg=yes/wsz) then this value is used as a starting point and may be negotiated up to the maximum value set by maxwsze or down to a minimum value of 1.

If this field is set to a value greater than 7,the interface must be configured for extended packet numbering (xtend = yes).

Values for window size requested by components (eg ITI) are preferentially used if flow control negotiation is enabled (flowneg = yes/wsz) AND if the requested values are between maxwsze and 1; in all other cases defwsze is used. Default value is 2.
