trpzTraplogNewestTrapDateAndTime

Module: TRAPEZE-NETWORKS-TRAPLOG-MIB

OID (symbolic): TRAPEZE-NETWORKS-TRAPLOG-MIB::trpzTraplogNewestTrapDateAndTime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.14525.4.13.1.2.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: DateAndTime

Access: read-only

Description: The local date and time of the latest trap occurrence. Instantiated only by systems that have date and time capability.

A value of '0000000000000000'H (all zeros, length 8 octets) means that no trap was logged yet (possibly because trap logging is disabled).

Otherwise should be same as the value of trpzTraplogTrapDateAndTime for the latest entry in trpzTraplogTrapTable, _if_ these objects were read at exactly same time.

What is trpzTraplogNewestTrapDateAndTime?

This read-only value reports the local wall-clock date and time of the most recent trap log entry, on systems with date/time capability, with an all-zero value meaning no trap has been logged yet. An admin reads this for a human-readable timestamp of the last logged event, more directly useful than the sysUpTime-based trpzTraplogNewestTrapTime for correlating with real-world events. For example, a trpzTraplogNewestTrapDateAndTime matching a known maintenance action's timing confirms that action was the source of the most recently logged trap.
