OID (symbolic): TRAFFIC-TEMPLATE-MIB::hpSwitchTrafficTemplateSystemDefaultName
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.5.1.72.1.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: OCTET STRING
Access: read-write
Description: The name of the traffic template used as the system default when no name has been explicitly set. Limited to 40 characters on some devices.
What is hpSwitchTrafficTemplateSystemDefaultName?
This read-write string, up to 255 octets (limited to 40 characters on some devices), names the traffic template used as the system default when no template name has been explicitly set. An admin sets it to designate which pre-defined or custom traffic template the switch falls back to if a port has no explicit template assignment. For example, an admin standardizing queue behavior across the switch would set this to the name of their preferred baseline template so untouched ports inherit it automatically.
