hpSwitchTrafficGroupPriorityMap

Module: TRAFFIC-TEMPLATE-MIB

OID (symbolic): TRAFFIC-TEMPLATE-MIB::hpSwitchTrafficGroupPriorityMap

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.5.1.72.1.2.2.1.4

Description: A bitmap of 802.1q priority values assigned to this traffic group. Each priority value 0-7 must be assigned to exactly one group for the template to be valid.

What is hpSwitchTrafficGroupPriorityMap?

This read-write bitmap assigns 802.1p priority values 0 through 15 to this traffic group, with the constraint that each priority value 0-7 must be assigned to exactly one group for the template to be considered valid. An admin sets it to control which 802.1p priority levels' traffic gets queued together under this group's behavior (such as lossless handling or a discard threshold). For example, an admin isolating storage traffic (typically priority 3 in FCoE deployments) into its own lossless group would set only bit priority3 in this map for that group.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> TRAFFIC-TEMPLATE-MIB::hpSwitchTrafficGroupPriorityMap

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.5.1.72.1.2.2.1.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> TRAFFIC-TEMPLATE-MIB::hpSwitchTrafficGroupPriorityMap.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.5.1.72.1.2.2.1.4.1 s <value>
