tnThermalProtectionPriorityTemperature

Module: TN-THERMAL-PROTECTION-MIB

OID (symbolic): TN-THERMAL-PROTECTION-MIB::tnThermalProtectionPriorityTemperature

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.868.2.5.32.1.1.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The temperature at which the ports with the corresponding priority will be turned off. Temperatures between 0 and 255 C are supported.

What is tnThermalProtectionPriorityTemperature?

This read-write value sets the chip temperature threshold, in Celsius, at which ports assigned to the corresponding priority level get shut down to protect the hardware. An administrator lowers this threshold for lower-priority ports so they're sacrificed first during overheating events, preserving higher-priority ports longer. Setting it to 70 for priority 3 means those ports power off once the chip hits 70°C.
