Module: TN-SAP-MIB

OID (symbolic): TN-SAP-MIB::tnSapEthernetLLFId

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.7483.6.1.2.4.3.43.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-create

Description:

sapEthernetLLFId specifies an identifier between sending and receiving objects that are LLF enabled. Only the object with the same sapEthernetLLFId will receive the LLF status. There can be up to five pairs of LLF-enabled SAPs per Ethernet Ring. 0 means no index is specified. The value can only be changed if sapEthernetLLFAdminStatus is 'down'. This Id is used only in VPLS and ignored in EPIPE

What is tnSapEthernetLLFId?

This object assigns a Link Loss Forwarding (LLF) identifier between paired service access points in an Ethernet Ring topology, allowing up to five LLF-enabled pairs per ring. The identifier (0–5) couples SAPs so that LLF status is shared only between matching pairs, preventing unwanted status propagation across the ring. Operators use this to implement redundant service delivery in VPLS networks while controlling failover behavior.
