tnLldpConfigMedGlobalAltitudeType

Module: TN-LLDP-MIB

OID (symbolic): TN-LLDP-MIB::tnLldpConfigMedGlobalAltitudeType

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.868.2.5.151.1.2.3.4.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TNlldpmedAltitudeType

Access: read-write

Description: Setting altitude type

Possible to select between two altitude types (floors or meters). Meters are representing meters of altitude defined by the vertical datum specified. Floors are representing altitude in a form more relevant in buildings which have different floor-to-floor dimensions. An altitude = 0.0 is meaningful even outside a building, and represents ground level at the given latitude and longitude. Inside a building, 0.0 represents the floor level associated with ground level at the main entrance.

What is tnLldpConfigMedGlobalAltitudeType?

Selects whether the device's advertised altitude (tnLldpConfigMedGlobalAltitude) is expressed in meters or in building floors, since floors better represent differing floor-to-floor heights indoors while meters suit outdoor or uniform-height use.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.868.2.5.151.1.2.3.4.4
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> TN-LLDP-MIB::tnLldpConfigMedGlobalAltitudeType

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.868.2.5.151.1.2.3.4.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> TN-LLDP-MIB::tnLldpConfigMedGlobalAltitudeType.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.868.2.5.151.1.2.3.4.4.1 s <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> tnLldpConfigMedGlobalAltitudeType.1
