tnEntSensorThresholdValue
Module: TN-ENTITY-SENSOR-MIB
OID (symbolic): TN-ENTITY-SENSOR-MIB::tnEntSensorThresholdValue
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.868.2.5.6.1.2.1.1.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: EntitySensorValue
Access: read-write
Description: This variable indicates the value of the threshold.
To correctly display or interpret this variable's value, you must also know entSensorType, entSensorScale, and entSensorPrecision.
However, you can directly compare entSensorValue with the threshold values given in tnEntSensorThresholdTable without any semantic knowledge.
What is tnEntSensorThresholdValue?
This EntitySensorValue holds the numeric comparison point used together with tnEntSensorThresholdRelation to evaluate a sensor threshold. Admins can compare this value directly against entPhySensorValue without needing to know the sensor's type, scale, or precision, which simplifies threshold configuration. For example, setting this to 85 on a fan-speed sensor paired with a lessThan relation flags an alarm if fan RPM falls below 85.
