Description: This object allows the user to turn the power ON or OFF to the external devices connected to alarm-input PINs. Note that this object is global w.r.t to the alarm contact pins and hence cannot be included in tmnxSasAlarmInputInfoTable
What is tmnxSasAlarmInputPowerStatus?
This value turns power off(0) or on(1) to external devices connected to the alarm-input pins, and applies globally across all alarm-input contacts rather than per individual input, which is why it lives outside the per-input alarm table. Admins use it to power-cycle or disable power to attached sensors, for example during maintenance or troubleshooting of connected hardware. Setting it to off(0) would cut power to all externally powered sensors wired to the alarm-input pins simultaneously.
