tmtControlNotificationsEnabled

Module: TABLE-MODIF-TRACKING-MIB

OID (symbolic): TABLE-MODIF-TRACKING-MIB::tmtControlNotificationsEnabled

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.9926.1.2.1.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: Indicates whether tmtTableRowModified notifications will or will not be sent when data in a MIB table registered by the tmtRegistrationOwner is modified in the SNMP command responder on the device. Disabling notifications does not prevent table modified messages from being added to tmtHistTableModifTable and tmtHistRowModifTable tables.

What is tmtControlNotificationsEnabled?

Enables (default false) sending tmtTableRowModified notifications when data changes in any MIB table registered by this owner; disabling it only stops the traps, modification history is still recorded in the Hist tables regardless. Turn this on if you want push notifications instead of having to poll tmtHistTableModifTable for changes.
