What is snetSwitchLinkErrorCounter?
This read-only counter reports the number of link errors that have occurred on a specific switch port. Admins monitor it to catch a degrading physical connection before it causes an outage, comparing it against snetSwitchLinkErrorThreshold to know when a trap would be triggered. A rapidly increasing value on one port points to a cabling or transceiver problem on that link.
