Description: The specific address the syslog receiver will bind to. The format of the address is specified by the corresponding syslogControlBindAddrType object. If the address is specified in the DNS domain name format [syslogControlBindAddrType = 'dns'], the corresponding IPv4 or IPv6 address obtained at the time of the binding operation by the syslog application, will be

used. If this syslog application is not a syslog receiver, the value of this object will be a zero-length string.

What is syslogControlBindAddr?

The specific address this syslog receiver listens on, in the format given by syslogControlBindAddrType; if a DNS name is configured, the address actually used at bind time is what's reported here, and it's a zero-length string if this application isn't a receiver.
