s3EnetPortPartStatus

Module: SYNOPTICS-ETHERNET-MIB

OID (symbolic): SYNOPTICS-ETHERNET-MIB::s3EnetPortPartStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.45.1.3.2.3.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This indicates the operational status of the Port. Writing a partition(2) will partition the port indefinitely and enabled(1) will enable the port.

If a timed partition is desired, then writing timedPartition(4) to this object at the same time that a time value is supplied in s3EnetPortPartTime is required. Timed partitions will not survive across a reset. In this case the port will go to the partition(2) state.

The value latSecPartition(5) is returned when the port has been automatically partitioned by the LattisSecure Host Module because of a security violation. The value autoPartition(3) is returned when the port has been automatically partitioned by the repeater using the 802.3 repeater auto-partition function.

The agent will not allow this object to be set to autoPartition(3) or latSecPartition(5) using an SNMP request.

What is s3EnetPortPartStatus?

Operational/partition state of the port: enabled(1), partition(2), autoPartition(3) by the repeater's 802.3 auto-partition, timedPartition(4), latSecPartition(5) by LattisSecure after a security violation. Writing partition(2) disables the port indefinitely, enabled(1) re-enables it, and timedPartition(4) must be written together with a time value; timed partitions revert to partition(2) after a reset. The agent refuses writes of autoPartition or latSecPartition. This object is deprecated.
