s3EnetNodeAgeInterval

Module: SYNOPTICS-ETHERNET-MIB

OID (symbolic): SYNOPTICS-ETHERNET-MIB::s3EnetNodeAgeInterval

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.45.1.3.2.5.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TimeTicks

Access: read-write

Description: The time used for aging of the nodes in tables s3EnetShowNodesTable and s3EnetFindNodesTable. Once a node has completely aged it will be removed from these tables.

Note: Agents that implement the s3EnetSdTrafTable and s3EnetDsTrafTable tables and do not implement the the object s3EnetTrafAgeInterval (i.e., agents prior to version 5.3), also use s3EnetNodeAgeInterval to age the nodes in these two tables.

What is s3EnetNodeAgeInterval?

Aging time, in TimeTicks, for entries in the Show Nodes and Find Nodes tables; fully aged nodes are removed. In agents before version 5.3 that have the traffic tables but no separate traffic-age object, it also ages entries in those traffic tables.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.45.1.3.2.5.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> SYNOPTICS-ETHERNET-MIB::s3EnetNodeAgeInterval

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.45.1.3.2.5.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> SYNOPTICS-ETHERNET-MIB::s3EnetNodeAgeInterval.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.45.1.3.2.5.2.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> s3EnetNodeAgeInterval.1
