s3EnetConcSecurityLock
Module: SYNOPTICS-ETHERNET-MIB
OID (symbolic): SYNOPTICS-ETHERNET-MIB::s3EnetConcSecurityLock
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.45.1.3.2.1.15
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: If s3EnetConcSecurityLock is locked(2), the agent will refuse all requests to modify the 'security configuration' (defined below) by returning a BadValue return value. If s3EnetConcSecurityLock is notLocked(3), requests to modify security configuration will be handled in the usual manner. SetRequests for objects not included in the security configuration are not affected by the state of this object.
Objects that are part of the security configuration are s3EnetConcAuthStatus, s3EnetConcAuthAction, s3EnetBoardAuthStatus, s3EnetBoardAuthAction, s3EnetPortAuthStatus, s3EnetPortAuthAction, s3EnetPortAddrLearnMode, s3EnetPortTxSecurity, and all of the objects in the s3EnetAuthNodesTable.
What is s3EnetConcSecurityLock?
Read-only flag showing whether the security configuration is locked: locked(2) makes the agent reject any change to security settings with a BadValue error, notLocked(3) allows changes as usual. The protected set includes the concentrator/board/port authorization status and action objects, address learn mode, transmit security and the authorized-nodes table; other settings are unaffected. Check it first if security SETs are being refused.
