Description: The LUN of the device

What is scsiLun?

This value reports the Logical Unit Number (LUN) of the SCSI device involved in this trap. Administrators use it, together with the target ID, to identify the exact logical device being reported on, since a single SCSI target can present multiple LUNs. For example, this identifying LUN 0 versus LUN 1 on the same target distinguishes between separate logical units hosted on the same physical device.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1123.3.1.2.2.507
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> SYMTRAP-MIB::scsiLun

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1123.3.1.2.2.507.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> SYMTRAP-MIB::scsiLun.1
