Module: SYMBOL-DSSS-ENTERPRISE-PRIVATE-MIB
OID (symbolic): SYMBOL-DSSS-ENTERPRISE-PRIVATE-MIB::apAgentAdInterval
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.388.1.5.1.2.16
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: Interval in second at which Mobility Agent Advertise- ments are sent by the Third Party Mobility Agent(s). AP will cache the Third Party Advertisement and pass it to MU at association time. If AP does not receive the Advertisement within the interval seconds, the cached Advertisement will be deleted. If the interval is 0 or apS24MobileIPEnable is enabled, caching of the Advertisement will not occur. Range (0..1200) 3*Seconds . Default is 0.
What is apAgentAdInterval?
Read-write interval, 0-1200 in 3-second units (default 0), at which the AP expects Mobility Agent advertisements from third-party agents; if none arrive within that window the cached advertisement is dropped, and setting it to 0 (or enabling apS24MobileIPEnable) disables caching altogether. Admins tune this when integrating with an external Mobile IP home/foreign agent that has its own advertisement cadence.
