Description: The Priority associated with a group of protocols for each port.

What is swdot1vProtocolPortGroupPriority?

This object sets the priority value, 0 through 7, assigned to a group of protocols on a specific switch port, as part of the IEEE 802.1v Port-and-Protocol-based VLAN Classification feature. It lets an admin control the relative queuing or forwarding priority given to frames classified into a particular protocol group on that port, independent of any 802.1p tag the frame itself carries. An admin who wants IPX traffic on a port to receive higher handling priority than default traffic might set this object to 5 for the IPX protocol group on that port.
