rAlarmFallingEventIndex

Module: SWITCH-RMON-MIB

OID (symbolic): SWITCH-RMON-MIB::rAlarmFallingEventIndex

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.8886.6.1.22.3.1.1.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The index of the eventEntry that is used when a falling threshold is crossed. The eventEntry identified by a particular value of this index is the same as identified by the same value of the eventIndex object. If there is no corresponding entry in the eventTable, then no association exists. In particular, if this value is zero, no associated event will be generated, as zero is not a valid event index.

This object may not be modified if the associated alarmStatus object is equal to valid(1).

What is rAlarmFallingEventIndex?

This read-write value points to the row in the event table that should fire when this alarm's falling threshold is crossed; a value of 0 means no event is generated on a falling crossing. It mirrors rAlarmRisingEventIndex but for the opposite threshold direction.
