smHealthMonitorLowLimit

Module: SUPERMICRO-HEALTH-MIB

OID (symbolic): SUPERMICRO-HEALTH-MIB::smHealthMonitorLowLimit

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.10876.2.1.1.1.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: Indicates the value for the Low limitation for the Monitor device that are currently in use on the managed device. FAN limit is in unit of RPM, Voltage limit is in unit of mV, Temperture limit is in unit of degree C

What is smHealthMonitorLowLimit?

A read-write integer setting the low alarm threshold for this monitor, applicable to fan (RPM), voltage (mV), or temperature (degrees Celsius) sensors. This is the floor value an admin configures to trigger an alert when a monitored value drops too low, such as a fan spinning too slowly, indicating imminent failure. An admin might set a fan's low limit to 500 RPM so an alarm fires if that fan slows down significantly, warning of a failing fan before it stops entirely.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.10876.2.1.1.1.1.6
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> SUPERMICRO-HEALTH-MIB::smHealthMonitorLowLimit

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.10876.2.1.1.1.1.6.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> SUPERMICRO-HEALTH-MIB::smHealthMonitorLowLimit.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.10876.2.1.1.1.1.6.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> smHealthMonitorLowLimit.1
