What Is STORMSHIELD-SMI-MIB?
STORMSHIELD-SMI-MIB is a vendor-specific structure-of-management-information (SMI) module that defines the root enterprise OID registration hierarchy for all Stormshield next-generation firewall MIBs. It carries no scalar or tabular runtime objects itself; its sole purpose is to declare the OID arc under which Stormshield's various firewall management MIBs (covering policies, sessions, hardware, etc.) register their objects. It therefore has no direct role in reporting hardware or software status such as uptime or CPU load, since that data lives in the more specific Stormshield MIBs built on top of this registration root. Every other Stormshield MIB module depends on this STORMSHIELD-SMI-MIB MIB for its OID placement within the vendor's enterprise tree. It is used exclusively in the context of Stormshield next-generation firewall appliances.

Monitoring Examples
This module defines only the enterprise OID registration root and contains no monitorable tables or scalars, so there is no runtime monitoring scenario to describe; it exists purely so other Stormshield firewall MIBs have a consistent OID base to register under.
