stnSubnetIfAssignFailure
Module: STN-ROUTER-MIB
OID (symbolic): STN-ROUTER-MIB::stnSubnetIfAssignFailure
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3551.2.100.0.30
Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE
Description:
A stnSubnetIfAssignFailure trap signifies that the agent entity has detected that the stnSubnetInterfaceState object in the STN-ROUTER-MIB has transitioned to the failedassign(7) or error(8) state for one of its interfaces. The generation of this trap can be controlled by the stnEnableSubnetInterfaceTraps configuration object.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' STN-ROUTER-MIB::stnSubnetIfAssignFailure snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.3551.2.100.0.30
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
Example snmptrapd log entry:
zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:51669->[192.168.30.10]:162]: DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (451982293) 52 days, 7:30:22.93 SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: STN-ROUTER-MIB::stnSubnetIfAssignFailure
