What is sonusStShelfStatActiveSource?
Identifies which physical timing source the active MTA is currently using to provide System Synchronized Timing (e.g. a BITS/SETS input, a recovered REFCLK, holdover, or the internal oscillator). An admin reads this as the definitive answer to 'what is this shelf timed from right now,' especially useful to confirm the shelf isn't unexpectedly running on oscillator(free-run) after a fault.
