Description: Specifies the type of core dump behavior the shelf will display. Under normal(1) behavior, the server modules will execute a core dump only for fatal software errors. Under sensitive(2) behavior, the server modules will execute a core dump when the software recognizes a major, but non-fatal, software fault. Normal(1) is the strongly recommended setting.
What is sonusBparamCoreLevel?
Specifies how aggressively server modules generate core dumps: normal(1) only for genuinely fatal software errors, sensitive(2) for a broader set of conditions. Vendor support asks an admin to switch this to sensitive(2) temporarily while chasing an intermittent, hard-to-reproduce defect, since it captures more diagnostic dumps at the cost of more frequent card interruptions.
