What is sonetSectionCurrentCVs?
A counter of Coding Violations (framing/parity errors detected via the Section overhead) encountered at the SONET/SDH Section layer during the current 15-minute interval. An admin uses a rising CV count as an early indicator of line quality problems before they escalate into errored or severely errored seconds.
