Description: Identifies the 553S DCC mode. The value nms553(1) indicates that the inband link is communicating with an NMS553 remote. The value nms510(2) indicates that the inband link is communicating with an NMS510 remote. This object works with with snmp553sUnitType; it can never be set to nms510(2) unless snmp553sUnitType is master(1).
The value other(3) indicates that the compatibility mode has been specified elsewhere. This value can never be set by management operation.
What is snmp553sDCCCompatibilityMode?
This read-write enumeration (nms553, nms510, other) sets which inband DCC compatibility mode this channel uses to talk to its remote peer, where nms510 is only settable when the unit's snmp553sUnitType is master, and other indicates the mode was set elsewhere and cannot be changed via management.
