Description: Action to perform if the resource fails: 1 - don't know 2 - Do not restart the resource after a failure, 3 - If the resource exceeds its restart threshold within its restart period, do not attempt to fail the group over to another node in the cluster, 4 - If the resource exceeds its restart threshold within its restart period, attempt to fail the group over to another node in the cluster.

What is sniWpResourceRestartAction?

Reports what the Cluster Service does if this resource fails: do nothing (dontRestart), restart it locally without failing the group over (restartNoNotify), or restart it and fail the group over to another node if the restart threshold is exceeded (restartNotify). Administrators use this to understand how aggressively the cluster will react to a failure of this particular resource.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> SNI-NT-CLUSTER-MIB::sniWpResourceRestartAction

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.231.2.10.2.9.1.6.2.1.13.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> SNI-NT-CLUSTER-MIB::sniWpResourceRestartAction.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> sniWpResourceRestartAction.1
