Description: In write mode, only enable and disable are allowed. An error will be reported if you try to enable a non Smart compliant device. In read mode, not-available(3) is returned if the device is not Smart compliant. Disable will be reported, if one option or more has changed after the initial configuration of the agent.
What is mylexPhysicalDeviceSmartMonitoring?
Enables or disables SMART monitoring on this physical disk (writable as enable/disable); reading returns not-available if the device isn't SMART compliant, and per the DESCRIPTION reports disable if any monitoring option changed after the agent's initial configuration, and attempting to enable it on a non-SMART-compliant device returns an error.
