associatedAddressGrpStatusChange

Module: SMDS-Subscription-MIB

OID (symbolic): SMDS-Subscription-MIB::associatedAddressGrpStatusChange

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.148.1.1.2.3.4.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This object is used to change associatedAddressGrpStatus. When the value of this object and associatedAddressGrpStatus are equal, then no change is being processed by the agent. If they are not equal, then the agent is processing the requested change. The agent may refuse the change to be made and thus return the value for associatedAddressGrpStatusChange to its previous value which is equal to the associatedAddressGrpStatus value. If the agent accepts the change, the associatedAddressGrpStatus value will be set equal to the

associatedAddressGrpStatusChange value. The object identifies whether the associated address is valid or invalid. This object is used to add/delete associated SNI addresses -- associatedAddressGrp (only individual addresses) to this table.

What is associatedAddressGrpStatusChange?

Used to add or delete an associated address (associatedAddressGrp) in a group address screen by changing this object away from the current associatedAddressGrpStatus value; the agent processes the requested change and may refuse it, reverting this object back. It's the read-write control that actually modifies which addresses belong to a given group address screen.
