Description: The first byte is the new mapping to set. The second byte is the mask for the setting. For example to split the second ODU1 of Uplink 1 into two ODU0 First byte should be - 01000000 Second byte should be - 01000000 To change the reunite the third ODU1 of uplink 2 First byte should be - 00000000 Second byte should be - 00000010
What is xpdrOduMappingMaskedAdmin?
xpdrOduMappingMaskedAdmin lets an admin change the ODU1/ODU0 mapping on specific ODUs by writing a value where the first byte holds the new mapping bits and the second byte is a mask selecting which bits to apply. This masked-write approach lets an admin split or reunite individual ODU1 containers into ODU0 pairs without disturbing the mapping of ODUs not covered by the mask, which matters because changing an ODU's mapping affects live service configuration. For example, per the MIB's own example, writing a first byte of 01000000 with a mask second byte of 01000000 splits the second ODU1 of Uplink 1 into two ODU0s, while a first byte of 00000000 with mask 00000010 reunites the third ODU1 of Uplink 2.
