shePtpDefaultDSPriority1
Module: SHE-PTP-MIB
OID (symbolic): SHE-PTP-MIB::shePtpDefaultDSPriority1
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.231.7.1.2.2.1.22.1.2.8
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: priority1 attribute of this PTP clock. This attribute is used in the execution of the best master clock algorithm, if BMC is used. However in this PTP slave clock implementation SLAVE_ONLY mode is used and priority1 is meaningless in respect of BMC.
What is shePtpDefaultDSPriority1?
The priority1 attribute used by the best master clock algorithm, when BMC selection applies. On this implementation the clock runs in SLAVE_ONLY mode, so priority1 has no practical effect on clock selection here.
