Description: The card commands : changeAdminState: changes the shePhysCardAdminState of a card. AdminState of controller cards cannot be changed. changeAlarmSeverityProfile: changes the shePhysCardAlarmSeverityIndex of a card. This is the pointer to a alarm severity profile.
createCard: creates plugin units. Acceptable in state NotEquipped and when object does not exist. The AdminState after creation, possible values are Planned or Locked, is specified as command parameter. The command is not accepted for CXUs. These HW objects are automatically created. The acceptable CardTypes are specified in the slot attribute shePhysContainerAccCardTypes. The content of this attribute changes after the creation to values allowed for the convert command. deleteCard: deletes a card. Acceptable only in state Planned/Locked. The command is not accepted for CXUs. CXUs are automatically deleted when board redundancy is disabled. The AdminState changes to NotEquipped. convertCard: converts the type of card. Acceptable only within the same card group, e.g. ADSL to ADSL according to content of types listed in shePhysContainerAccCardTypes. convertCard allowed in state Planned/Locked. Notifications: shePhysCardControlResult when a command has finished.
reset commands:
resetSystem: reset of system (all cards) and activates loads after SW download. The main card will perform a restart. resetSystemWithDefaultConf : restart with default configuration is performed.
resetCard: after SW download to activate the new load of a specific card. resetCardAllOfType: after SW download of cards of the same type to activate the new load.
Notifications : shePhysCardReset at beginning of reset. shePhysCardResetEnd at end of reset. shePhysCardControlResult for reset of CXU in case of a failure occured after the reset has been accepted.
changeAlarmSeverityProfile: the alarm severity profile is changed for a specific card.
THIS REQUEST WILL NOT LONGER BE SUPPORTED BY NE R2.5: setTemperatureThreshold: configure the temperature threshold which is used. When temperature reaches the threshold, alarm is turned on.
What is shePhysCardControlRequest?
Read-write command object for issuing card-level actions such as changeAdminState, changeAlarmSeverityProfile, or createCard; an admin writes the desired command here along with the related shePhysCardControl* parameter objects, and controller cards' admin state cannot be changed this way since it is fixed unlocked.
