This read-write integer reports how many entries currently exist in the diagnostics table, and can be set to 0 by an admin to delete all entries at once. Admins use it both to check the current diagnostics log size and, by writing 0, to clear the entire diagnostics table in one operation. For example, an admin who has finished reviewing all logged diagnostic issues sets diagListNumberOfEntries to 0 to wipe the table clean before the next monitoring cycle.
