What is sbsmStatsDecryptionErrors?

This counter tracks how many times a received message failed to decrypt successfully. An admin monitors it to catch a mismatched key, corrupted traffic, or a misbehaving peer causing repeated decryption failures. As an illustrative example, a sudden spike in this counter could point to a key rotation that wasn't applied consistently on both ends of a session.
