wanDefaultIPXNetworkAddress

Module: SBE-MIB

OID (symbolic): SBE-MIB::wanDefaultIPXNetworkAddress

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1055.2.5.1.2.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-only

Description: Default value on nX: 0 On nX: in ram, field trial 1

If IPX is configured, this field indicates which IPX network address is being used by this port. The nX will automatically generate an address to be used during dialout and, during dialin, will accept the address from the calling node. (The nX products use the SAP tables they dynamically build to determined which network numbers are already in use.)

What is wanDefaultIPXNetworkAddress?

Reports the 4-byte IPX network number currently in use on this WAN port when IPX routing is configured; the nX unit auto-generates this for dialout and accepts the calling node's address on dialin, cross-checking against its dynamically built SAP tables to avoid duplicate network numbers.
