OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1055.2.1.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

What is syDialinAuthentication?

Selects which PPP authentication protocol (none, PAP, CHAP, or either) the nX unit will negotiate with a caller during dialin. An admin sets this to 'chap' to require encrypted challenge-response credentials rather than plaintext PAP.
