syBridgePriority
Module: SBE-MIB
OID (symbolic): SBE-MIB::syBridgePriority
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1055.2.2.3
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: Default value on nX: 32768 On nX: both ram and flash
Used by the Spanning Tree Algorithm to determine who is the root bridge in the network.
What is syBridgePriority?
Sets the unit's Spanning Tree Protocol bridge priority (default 32768); lower values make this unit more likely to be elected the network's root bridge. An admin lowers this on the intended core switch/router to force it into the root-bridge role.
