mgrNumberOfRetriesForMACProtocolResponses

Module: SBE-MIB

OID (symbolic): SBE-MIB::mgrNumberOfRetriesForMACProtocolResponses

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1055.2.8.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Default value on nX: 3 On nX: both ram and flash

This object specifies the number of times Workshop will retry sending to an nX product a message that timed out before assuming that the packet cannot be sent. If this count is reached, Workshop will stop trying to send the packet and assume that the unit is no longer responding (e.g. the connection has been terminated). The nX product does not use this value.

What is mgrNumberOfRetriesForMACProtocolResponses?

Sets how many times (1-10, default 3) Workshop retries sending a timed-out message to this nX unit before concluding the unit is unreachable, e.g. because the connection has been terminated. This value is used only by the manager application, not by the nX device itself.
