eventGroupIndex

Module: SBE-MIB

OID (symbolic): SBE-MIB::eventGroupIndex

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1055.2.11.1.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: index into the event log table entry. It is a reference point where the SNMP manager will issue the GET NEXT request to get the next group of events. nX needs to set this value to match the last SEQUENCE # that is returned in the eventData.

What is eventGroupIndex?

The index into the event log table, used as a bookmark for GET-NEXT polling: the manager sets this to the last received sequence number so the nX unit knows to return the next group of events after it.
